The Love Boat

Back on Valentine's Day, my Husband had a surprise for me. I had just gotten to Chattanooga late the night before so I was pretty excited that the Hubby had made the plans and even better that it was a surprise! I honestly had no idea what to expect. He did good!

A romantic dinner cruise along the river!

It was so lovely! (besides the tight quarters) The food was great and the drinks were strong. They set the mood with some very sappy and romantic music. Think Marvin Gaye... oh yeah.  Later they had dancing. It was a fun 2 hours. We would've explored downtown afterward except we were exhausted and it was cold and rainy. We do plan to go back for one of their daytime cruises so that we can see the places along the river better.

We met via Craigslist. It was love at first sight. 

 

You greeted me with puppy breath and lots of kisses.

We bonded. You forever changed my life and heart.

Then I took your man-hood and you still loved me.

You make me laugh constantly. 

And make me want to vomit when you pass gas.

I got quite the surprise last night after work. 

Walking up to my door, paying attention to the cute lil boy in the window waiting for his momma...

I see this large box on the door step....

I wish someone would have been video recording me to see the ridiculous smile on my face. 

I rushed inside, cut open the box to a sweet love note and beautiful flowers.

This man is a keeper and I am a very lucky girl.

He may be a million miles away but he is the best valentine ever.

Can't wait til we get to see each other!!

Later last night, I took bubby to Petsmart to get him a Valentine's toy.

The excitement he gets with a new toy makes my heart smile.

To all my single ladies:

I woke up depressed and bitter. I am sure I wasn't the only one. I told myself I wouldn't get this way today...but it came as soon as I rolled out of bed. Wishing I could stay home instead of being surrounded by women with roses on their desks. Why couldn't I have woken up and it miraculously be Feb 15th? It's been nothing but let downs this past weekend and today.

Then, I was reminded by a sweet friend on Twitter this morning that I have a love that's unconditional and better than a love from any man! How quick am I, are we, to forget that?! What a gift that is! He will never let me down. He will never let you down. Let's soak that in today. Let that be our comfort. Share His love with those around you.
