Got Milk??

Y'all. I love milk. 

Better yet, I LOVE chocolate milk.

I don't like to think about what all is in food because I easily get grossed out by it.

Take shrimp for example. 

If I think about how slimy it is or how it smells, I won't be able to eat it.

Other times, I will pop em right in my mouth.

Back to milk. 

Until yesterday, I loved it.

Thanks to this post from Raven {A Momma's Desires and Pacifiers} and this post, I can no longer drink a nice cold large glass of cow milk. 


WARNING: If you read those posts...it WILL spoil your milk.

Thinking about it makes me want to vomit. 

As of today, I am now a soy milk drinker. 

I tried some Silk chocolate soy milk.

Y'all...that stuff tastes like dirty water! I had to chug it down. 

But apparently it is way better for you. It has 50% more calcium! 

Hope soy milk and I will learn to love each other.

Do y'all drink soy milk? What's your favorite?

Have y'all read Skinny Bitch? I'm scared to.

What about rice milk? 

Help me.

PS- don't worry, I am not going all vegetarian on you. this girl loves her meat... but I do need to eat more veggies.

So What Wednesday

SO WHAT if I had no desire to blog today. But then was reminded it's Wednesday and there are a few linkups to choose from. This one has become my favorite. 
SO WHAT if I have become slightly 'addicted' to my white noise app. I told myself I wouldn't but I have used it almost every night since. 
SO WHAT if I give JAX things to play with that I know he will destroy in a matter of minutes. It's pure entertainment for me and it keeps him occupied. 

SO WHAT if I am not seeing a midnight showing of Breaking Dawn Pt 1 (I have gone to midnight showings for all the Twilight movies thus far). My sleep is precious to me (aka I am old) and honestly, I am not THAT excited for it. The books are always 10x better than the actual movie. 
SO WHAT if the Holidays sometimes make me sad. Being single isn't always rainbows and butterflies.
SO WHAT if I am beginning to think I am crazy for signing up for a half marathon.

Ever have one of those days where you just want a 'restart' button?! Today is one of those days. And yes, I know it is only 8am. It all started because of Jax being constipated (tmi??) and ended with spilling coffee on my white shirt on the way to work. C'mon Tuesday...be nice to me. Hope y'all are having a much better day than I!

Last year Jax and I sent out some adorable Christmas cards via Shutterfly! 

I was very happy with how they turned out! Got lots of compliments. And the best part is that I got them for a great price. Can't beat that!

I am so excited to being using Shutterfly again this year for our Christmas cards! Unfortunately I could not afford professional photos like last year, but that was Jax and I's first Christmas, so it was well worth it. 

There are many different styles of holiday cards to choose from. I spent about an hour going through them. Everything from religious, to classic, and contemporary. Love love love them. Having a Christmas or New Years party? Check out their invitations!

The only problem... deciding on just ONE style! Fortunately, I have it narrowed down to four.

Dare to Wear Leggings

This post is inspired by my homegirl, Miss Chelsea, aka Pippa.

 She has started these Make It My Own Monday fashion posts. Love it. She wears leggings like its her job. No offense. I love the look but never thought I could 'pull them off' bc I got them curves like Miranda Lambert (love her).

Well...Monday, I bought leggings at Target. I am in love. I now want to look for ridiculously short dresses or ridiculously long shirts just so I can sport them! Thanks Pippa!

So What Wednesday

So what... if in order to spell Wednesday correctly, I mouth WED-NES-DAY.

So what... if I am falling for someone I have not seen in a very long time who lives very far away.

So what... if I am all hot and bothered by an argument on Facebook between Science and The Bible or Aethiests and Christians. 

So what... if a co-worker buying me a Dr. Pepper makes my day 10x better. 

So what... if I don't understand all this 'honey badger' talk. Seriously, I don't get it. 

So what... if I took a whole bag of cinnamon swirl bagels from our break room. What? My co-worker said he put them in there for whoever wants them. They are my favorite. First come first serve, right?

So what... I spent almost the entire day yesterday talking to my man friend via FB Chat instead of doing real work....and then was annoyed when someone asked me for something. Ha. 

So what... if I am not a fan of Miranda Lambert's new CD. Baggage Claim and Easy Living are my only favorites. 


So what... if I have spent my nights browsing Pinterest instead of doing something more productive?

So what... if all I am looking forward to today is the CMA's with my two friends Ben&Jerry tonight.

Sometimes I just really love my cell phone.

Why???

One night recently I could not fall asleep. Don't you hate that? I wasn't in my room so my fan wasn't making the noise I fall asleep to. It was dead quiet. I am the type of sleeper that needs some white noise (and for it to be pitch black). So I immediately downloaded a white noise app for my phone. What a life saver.... that app is now my favorite!!! I passed out right away to a lovely 'thunderstorm'. Ha! I used it again last night and went into a very deep sleep with a 'summer rain shower'. 

As I am about to walk out the door today for me morning run, I realize my iPod died. Cue the part where I have a minor freak out. I am not ready to run without music yet. Then I realize...MY PHONE! I can use Pandora! Y'all.... Pandora has a GREAT workout station- Dance Cardio. Love love love.

I'M LOVING... that I ran my best minute per mile yesterday...after a few weeks of no activity. But I am def feeling it today. Like almost miserable. Pain=Gain baby.

I'M LOVING... this online and free book I read called Carry Me Home. It's written by a woman in the Army.

I'M LOVING... this cooler weather!! Jax and I have been snuggling up together. He keeps me warm, lil hot body of his.

I'M LOVING... Jesus. Anyone recommend a good study bible? I struggle with 'diving' into The Word. I wasn't taught to turn to The Bible growing up. It bothers me that I have been a Christian for so long but don't know His Word like I should. I know I am not alone in this. And I would like to change it!

I'M LOVING... this sweet baby boy. Dog Owners: Target has toys in the dollar section! Got a rope/ball for Jax last night. Was destroyed by the end of the night. Why do I even bother?!
