Meet Jax!
I was told by the rescue that he is a German Shepard/Boxer mix but a few people have said he looks more like he is mixed with Pit. Once I go to the vet to get his manly parts taken, I hope they can tell me. He is sooooo sweet! He has been in a shelter since he was 3 months old...He is 6months old now. He has a lot of training to do but he is already being attentive to some commands.
His name? If you watch Sons of Anarchy you"ll understand. Jax is one of the "badass" bikers.

I took the day off to be with him all day. I am technically only his foster mom right now to get a feel for him, but I am prettttyyyy sure ill be keeping him.

Awwww! This is soooo sweet and he is adorable! He does look like a badass dog, but I'm sure he is as kind as ever. :)

He is cute, and definitely looks pit mix to me. Great news though, they are AWESOME dogs! I've always loved them, and having worked in Veterinary care for some 5 years or so, I would have much rather worked on a Pit than a lot of other "family" breeds!

Yay! We just adopted a puppy on Friday too, so nice to be going through this with somebody else! So are you in the middle of sleepless nights and housebreaking? Can't wait to hear more about Jax :-)

Please keep the puppy! He is SO cute. I can see hints of boxer in him (we have two) but boxers and pits can look similar especially when mixed with something else. Is he incredibly hyper? If so - he's probably got some boxer!
